The Attorney General’s Office Youth Ambassadors Programme (YAP) offers a unique opportunity for young people to become champions of the rule of law within their communities.

Our Youth Ambassadors in 2026 will create and lead a youth-driven communications campaign, designed to engage and inspire their peers.

This initiative is designed to develop leadership, advocacy, and public engagement skills, while deepening their understanding of the UK’s legal system.

Hang on

Our campaign meets young people inside their real experiences of injustice. Providing the language, community and the tools to demand better. Through gamification of rule of law concepts, including an escape room, a football session and the CtRoL app we don’t tell young people about their rights. We create the moment they claim them.
